Laurent Craste Museum show in NY
Everson Museum of Art Presents Iconoclasts: The Art of Laurent Craste

This is the first exhibition of the renowned hyper realistic painter from Canada at our gallery. Beliveau, who studied art in Quebec, has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world and is recipient of numerous awards. He captures books, often the spines of several, and combines them to create a new narrative. His level of skill is extraordinary, but more captivating is the wit and humor with which he composes thought provoking glimpses into his vast library.
On display are recent works from two of his most acclaimed series, including several “Vanitas” paintings, depicting partially burnt books.
You can request a list of available works here: PAUL BELIVEAU or you can visit the gallery. Please call ahead (760-346-4243 opt 1) to make sure we are not busy with other clients.
