Peter Bremers is a contemporary Dutch glass artist renowned for his striking, ethereal sculptures that explore the interplay between form, light, and space. A graduate of the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts, Bremers began his career working with various materials before discovering the expressive potential of glass. His signature style features bold, architectural shapes that evoke natural landscapes, ice formations, and abstract topographies. Born in New York City in 1960, she studied painting at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts before teaching herself ceramics and glass casting. Her sculptures often depict human-animal hybrids, pregnant figures, and translucent forms containing smaller figures, symbolizing inner souls or potential selves. Bothwell's work is held in permanent collections worldwide, including the Corning Museum of Glass and the Palm Springs Art Museum . She resides in rural Pennsylvania, drawing inspiration from nature and her spiritual pursuits.
