Tijuana, B. C.- Huge babies crawl through the gallery, a huge and heavy vehicle hangs on the wall as if it were a piece of clothing, colorful stained glass windows of the faces of transcendent scientists are part of the challenging proposal of the Czechoslovakian artist David Černý, inaugurated last Saturday at the Tijuana Cultural Center (Cecut), an institution of the federal Ministry of Culture.
The pieces are part of the intrepid postulates that the artist has taken to his native Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany, England, Belgium, the United States, Slovakia, Australia, China, Sweden, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Poland, South Korea, Spain, Japan, Ukraine, Austria and Brazil, among other countries, to arrive for the first time in Mexico, making Tijuana his first headquarters....
