German American artist Ali Eckert was raised in two cultures and is deeply influenced by American imagery and pop culture elements. His art investigates various iconographies to reflect ongoing cultural shifts. Eckert’s distinctive analog technique combines photography, digital art, and painting. He photographs all objects and scenes, then manually transfers pigments onto canvas, wood, or aluminum, enhanced with paint.
