With great anticipation, we have finally received a crate with ten new paintings by Zivana Gojanovic—and the joy of unpacking them never gets old. Since Zivana moved back to her home country of Croatia to be closer to her family, new works have become far less frequent on this side of the Atlantic. That makes each shipment feel especially meaningful, both for us and for the collectors who have been patiently following her artistic journey.
This latest arrival includes several of her highly sought-after—and rarely available—still lifes. Zivana’s still lifes possess a quiet intensity: intimate compositions rendered with her signature balance of strength and restraint. They capture a sense of presence that feels both timeless and contemporary, inviting the viewer to slow down and truly look. Because these works are produced in limited numbers and often placed quickly, it is a particular pleasure to be able to share a small group at once.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming Zivana back to the gallery toward the end of the year. Until then, we wanted to offer her admirers an early opportunity to experience these new paintings in person.
